##WORKING PROCESS

Grace Fine Jewelry Website Remake

I had the opportunity to collaborate with one of Thailand's jewelry brands, Grace Fine Jewelry, to enhance their eCommerce website.

In this blog, I’ll share my thought process and research aimed at improving the user experience and visual presentation of the Grace Fine Jewelry website. One key aspect I focused on was understanding and incorporating data from case studies on eye-tracking and heat map tools on e-commerce sites, which helped guide the design decisions based on user behavior.

The first things they see before buying specifically on jewelry sites

  • Clear Call to Action

  • Concise Product Descriptions

  • High-Quality Images

  • Simple, elegant Layout

Original Website - several areas that required improvement:
  • Overwhelming Product Display: The sheer number of products shown on a single page made it difficult for users to navigate and find what they are looking for.

  • Lack of Visual Cohesion: Eye movement across the site felt scattered, making it hard for users to focus on key areas.

  • Unstructured Layout: The layout was disorganized, leading to a confusing user experience.

  • Unreadable Text: The font and color choices were not optimal, reducing readability and overall accessibility.

Redesign improvements:
  • Z-pattern layout: Reorganize the layout to follow the Z-pattern, ensuring that key elements like CTAs are strategically placed along the natural scanning path to capture attention effectively.

  • Clean and minimalist: Simplify the original design by decluttering the main section, avoiding repeated product carousels without clear headings, and focusing on one primary feature per section.

  • Strong visual hierarchy: Ensure that product names, prices, and CTAs are prominently displayed, using size, color, and positioning to draw attention to these critical elements.
